Hudson
The sister needed a mate of her own so she would leave mine alone long enough for me to get her naked.
Still, as I made my way back to the were-howss, I could not stop my smile. I had met my mate, the female I would be with forever. And she was perfect. Smart and educated, going so far as wanting to be a healer for her peopleâan honor where I was from. She was funny and creative. And she was beautiful. Her long dark hair and big brown eyes were imprinted on my brain. I would think of them as I took my cock in hand later. Think of her sweet smiles and the flush of her skin when I made her laugh. I would think only of my Macy.
And I would do anything to see her again. Soon.
When I got back to the were-howss, Cutlass and Klow-ee were waiting for me in their unit.
âSo,â the little human asked. âHowâd it go?â
I grinned, unable to hold it back. âGood.â
Klow-ee leaned forward as if waiting for something. And then she frowned. âThatâs it? Good. A cheap pizza is good, a jog through the park is good, hell, a pap schh-meer can be good. Meeting your match shouldnât beâ¦just good.â
I raised a shoulder, still grinning. âIt was good. She wants to be a healer for humans. Sheâs very smart.â
âOkay,â Klow-ee said, drawing out the word to sound like two. Ooh and kaee.
Cutlass chuckled and pulled Klow-ee back into his lap. âHudson is happy. That should tell you enough.â
But his mate did not look accepting of that. âHudson is always happy. Thatâs just him.â
Klow-ee refocused on me, cocking her head like a bird of prey. âDid you tell her where youâre from? That youâre anââ she lowered her voice ââalien?â
I never understood why she said that word so quietly. âNo. I enjoyed her company, though. Sheâs the right match for me.â
âCongratulations,â Cutlass said. âDid you mate her?â
Klow-ee smacked him in the chest. âJeez, Cutlass. Way to be suu-tull.â
âWhat is suu-tull?â he asked, looking from her to me and back again. I could only shake my head. That word didnât translate.
âShit. You guys need reprogramming for the language or something.â Klow-ee scrunched up her face in an odd, totally human way. âSo, since my man here came in like a wrecking ballâ¦did you?â
âDid I what?â I asked as I leaned against the wall by the door.
âMate her? Have the sex? Get down and dirty in the C with the D?â
I only understood one of those questions. âNo. We did mate mouths, though. I can see now why you and Cutlass are always attached at the lips. Her taste is addictive.â
They both stared at me as if I was an idiot. And maybe I was because I had wanted very much to bury my face in Macyâs cunt, and I had not. Because of a phone that pinged and beeped and danced across the counters far too often. I guess I could have tried harder.
