When working as a fishing and photography guide in Alaska, I cover a lot of territory. However, I usually end up encountering the same bears, in the same places, again and again. As most guides do, I develop a truly respectful, working relationship with the bears. After all, we share the same trails, the same rivers and streams, and even the same fishing holes day after day.
