COWABUNGA IPA

In this recipe, the malt takes a back seat to the hops. The use of sugar dries out the beer so the hops can really come through. Some people say that you need a “big malt backbone” when you use a lot of hops in order to have a balanced beer. We say, “Always remember, balance is a subjective state of mind.”

FOR 6.0 GALLONS AT 1.066 OG, 1.011 FG, 70 TO 110 IBUs, 7.25% ABV
