• SETTING USED FOR THE ACTION SHOT: This photo was taken using the “Selfie” Time Lapse Photo Preset with one photo every .5 second. The PolarPro ND16 ND Filter was used to slow down the shutter speed to create a motion blur effect on the road. The short interval allowed the camera to capture a wide selection of images to choose from for the right combination of movement, focus and motion blur. The Standard 4:3 Aspect Ratio using a photo mode also worked well to capture the most top to bottom area of the frame.

• The HERO9 was mounted to the front of the helmet using the Helmet Front Mount as shown. Notice how the camera was angled down to capture the skateboard and road instead of just a forward-facing view. Using the Helmet Front Mount allows you to create a more immersive point of view angle than mounting the camera directly on top of your helmet. After a few of these shots, angle the camera up to film a straight forward perspective with depth. Mix these two angles together for variety in an edited clip.
