Elijah Honeyblew (right, 1861–1947) was a fifth-generation descendant of Guinea Jack and Fanny Collins, two native Africans brought to Somerset Place in 1786. Judith Littlejohn (below, 1866–1922), daughter of Peter and Elsie Littlejohn, was their first child born free. Elijah and Judith married February 22, 1882, and became the parents of 10: William, Mary, Joyce, Estelle, Herbert, Marshall, Dermy, Fred, Gladys, and Ruth. After Judith died, Elijah married Sally Freeman Spruill and moved to New Jersey where he died.
