Chapter 33
Before I can step into the shower, a certain angel slips into the bathroom, followed by a growl as she quickly shuts the door.
âYour fox is very territorial! I had to promise him that I was simply removing your bandages!â
Turning to Sora I find her arms crossed and a deep frown on her face. It also only lasts a few seconds before she starts stripping off her clothes. Her frown changes to a smile as she unhooks her collar and starts placing everything on the nearby sink.
âNow that I have you aloneâ¦â she trails off as her firmly toned body becomes bare before me.
âWe arenât having sex,â I laugh.
Pouting, she asks, âWhy not?â
Waving off the mana rich steam that is starting to fill my vision, I move to the sink and flip the switch for the fan. As much as I like the warmth of the water, Iâd much rather be able to see Sora as we shower together.
Turning back to Sora, I admire her body once more before saying, âFor one, Iâm still injured, and I donât want Ashe breaking into the bathroom to pull us apart. Two, we are waiting until we are married.â
âThose are two very good points.â Sighing, she relents and instead steps closer until her face is mere inches from mine. âDo I get a kiss at least?â
Swallowing hard, I nod dumbly. âIâYesâ¦â
Giggling, Sora looks down at my waist and smiles. âWell, thatâs a good sign at least.â Leaning in she pecks my lips before slipping around me.
âThatâs all you want for a kiss?â I ask. Touching my lips, I feel the lingering caress of her lips on mine.
âYour reaction was what I was after.â Smirking, she slips into the water and beckons for me to join her.
Shaking my head, I tense my legs to calm myself down before joining her. With deft hands, she starts unwrapping my chest and ribs. Slowly the bloody and poultice-stained wrappings come undone, and she starts smiling.
âYouâre all healed it looks like!â she chirps.
Running my fingers over my ribs, I feel the fresh scars that cover that side of my body. The remainder of the poultice rubs off on my hand, and I quickly step under the water to rinse the rest off.
âI told you Iâd heal quickly.â
Dispensing some soap, she starts lathering it before rubbing it over my chest and sides. âI knew you would heal quickly, but I can still worry. To think, you didnât even get directly hit by that attack, and you still took so much damage.â
âYeah,â I say softly.
Lifting my arms, I let Sora get a better angle on me. She slowly and methodically washes my arms and chest before staring at my legs. Shrugging, she slowly starts washing down the rest of me, earning a shiver from my body when she reaches a certain place.
âMy turn,â she purrs.
Chuckling, I step under the water and rinse off. Gathering my own supply of soap, I start rubbing down the angelâs arms. Her firm muscles are unyielding to my touch, and like the rest of her body, they show off how strong she really is.
