Now that was something that might never change. The Governor of Cyriat had been in that position for a long time.

Sparker laughed. “I don’t know when that will happen.”

The comms buzzed. Mirra examined the console and switched off the auto-pilot.

“We are approaching Inergot,” Mirra announced.

TWENTY-SIX

Sparker looked at the view screen. “Wow.”

Mirra grinned. “Looks like someone has never been to Inergot.”

“It is my first time,” Sparker admitted.

He couldn’t remember why he had never made it to Inergot in his previous life. There must have been a reason, but it had slipped his mind. It may have had to do with the fact that his pilot days had kept him stationed at Othia. The brownish-bluish-green planet appeared on the view screen. The colors of the planet looked inviting even from this distance.
