Decorate Candles
Nothing says fancy like beautiful candles. Your family can beautify your own candles for Formal Night. There are many different ways to beautify candles. Here are a few. They all start with basic white candles.
Crayon Candles
What You Need
Newspaper
Crayons
Pots
White candlesticks
Paintbrushes
A grown-up to assist
1. Place sheets of newspaper on a tabletop to protect it.
2. Take the labels off the crayons.
3. Place similar color crayons in a pot; separate different colors into different pots.
4. Melt the crayons on the stove over a low heat.
5. Once the crayons are melted, turn off the heat. Put the white candles on the table and use paintbrushes to brush the melted crayon wax onto the candles. Be carefulâthe melted wax is hot!
