Chapter Ten

After the marriage ceremony, Alex threw a party to his extended family and close friends. Alex came to Durvish and asked, “How are you feeling here pal?”

“I’m great, you are a lucky man, what a gorgeous bride she is! Congratulations.” He responded with a tight hug.

“Thank you very much, I’m really happy that you’re here to attend my marriage and I promise I’ll be there with Melina to join your marriage ceremony, I’m excited to see a traditional Indian marriage.”

“I’d love that Alex, by the way, where are you going for your honeymoon?” Durvish asked.

“We’re going to Hawaii, Melina wants to go there and I think that is the perfect destination in this season.”

“That’s great my friend, it’s really a wonderful place, have you been there?”

“Nope, it’s my first visit but Melina has already visited there, she loves that island.”

“Okay, great, have a wonderful time there.” Durivish again hugged him.

“I’ve arranged everything here for you pal, but still if you need anything feel free to call Mark, I’ve told him and he would be happy to help you.”

“Thank you, my dear, I’m ecstatic to be here, your hospitality is perfect, and we’ve enjoyed this marriage ceremony.” Durvish said and then he introduced Alex to Shruti and Aakash. Alex spoke to Sanjana,

“Hey Sanjana, I thought you would come here on your honeymoon.” She blushed and then stared at Durvish, it’s a warning as he shared their personal matters to him. He added, “If you guys married, we would get your company there.”

“Don’t be silly Alex, nobody can take you to their honeymoon. Ha ha, do you expect me to give you company during my honeymoon period?” He laughed, and Alex burst into laughter, they laughed, laughed and laughed. Until they realized everyone was staring at them.

“Oh my god, I forgot for a moment that I’m not in India, what I love most about your country is that I can share a horse laugh there and nobody cares but here I need to maintain my dignity. Fake people, they have made rules for everything, you can’t laugh wholeheartedly and they will call you manner less.” He expressed his love for India.

When Alex told Melina that the Pancho, she loved was designed by Sanjana, she gave her a friendly hug and then she instantly liked the two Indian girls and then they started their gossiping. They placed themselves at a table. Meanwhile Alex, Durvish and Aakash shared a bottle of champagne, they went to another table, maintaining a little distance from the girls as Alex wanted to share some adult jokes. They had a lot of fun, Aakash seemed to enjoy most, soon he got drunk and laughed like a child at their jokes. They spent some quality time there and before leaving Alex called the girls who were sitting at a table next to them and sipping their red wine. He said to Durvish,

“I’m leaving, by the time I’ll return, you will have left for India.” Then he turned to all,
