Morning July 16 to Evening July 22, 2270 & ED year 12, Day 364 to year 13, Day 19.

Waking up next to Nicole and Kate, with Sam just past Nicole, plus Ava and Mia just past Kate was just about the best birthday present that Alex could have asked for. Though the way that his wives had decided to start the day for him quickly gave him several presents that he wouldn’t have dared asked for. Yet as he lay there after it with Ava and Mia still caressing him while the other three got whatever else they had planned ready, he couldn’t help but smile as he thought over the prior hour as he spoke.

“How much of that was the two of you and how much was the others?”

“We’ll never tell you,” teased Ava.

“But everything that Sam and Nicole did was completely them,” added Mia.

“Really?”

“Yes.”

“While there might have been a slight push.”

“It was only to make them find balance.”

“Like we all must.”

“Nicole let Sam-”

“Alex, you don’t need to tell us.”

“We were as surprised as you were.”

“Though I would expect Sam to drag Nicole to at least some of her nights because of it.”

“Even if Nicole doesn’t do the same.”

“Won’t that cause an imbalance?”

“No, Sam wants you and Nicole.”

“Nicole just wants you.”

“But she is much more open to things if you’re involved.”

“Thus, everything she does with Sam is for you in her mind.”

“It is slightly out of harmony with what you want.”

“But it is far better than how things had been going.”

Alex paused as he thought through what both of the two had done and how everything had gone down as he frowned before speaking again.

“Ava, Mia, I need you to do me a major favor.”

“Yes?”

“Anything for you.”

“Make sure that Sam doesn’t feel like Nicole or I are using her and make sure Nicole knows that I am fine if she joins Sam, but she needs to take care of Sam’s feelings as well if she does.”

“You didn’t need to ask.”

“As we already know that.”

“Still, we are happy that you did.”

“As that affirms that you care.”

“Always. The five of you are the center of my world, at least in this reality. On that note, I feel like the two of you have gone from being reliant on us to the ones who we all rely on. At least when it comes to things regarding us all staying in harmony with each other.”

“Nah.”

“That’s Kate.”

“The two of us just take the actions.”

“She is the one who notices the issues.”

“Really, I think she cares about us more than you at times.”

“Though, it may just be that she knows our needs trump yours if this is going to last.”

“Even so, you two have grown so much from when we first meet and you two forced your way into my life.”

“Becoming a mother will do that.”

“So will being surrounded by those we can trust.”

“Now, we promise that we wouldn’t keep you here too long.”

“So, as much as we would like to stay like this.”

“We need to shower and get ready for the morning.
