The third thing we have to do is work “within the amplitude” ie. do not "lay down" the bar on the chest at the lowest point and do not straighten the arm to the end at the top point. What for? At the lower point, this gives us constant tension in the chest, and at the upper point, we turn off the triceps even more. do not unbend the elbow joint to the end. Result: the concentration of the load in the chest throughout the entire amplitude.

The fourth thing that will further complicate the exercise (it will concentrate the load on the pectorals) is raising the legs. Many have seen how powerlifters press - arching with their feet on the floor. By the way, many security officials say that: I press the barbell from my feet. This is done in order to "help" the pectorals with other muscle groups - triceps, back and even legs. Accordingly, a huge amount of load is lost with such a press from the chest to other muscle groups. Our task is not to help nursing infants, but on the contrary “make their life difficult for them,” therefore, when you learn the correct technique, you can try to raise your legs on the bench.
