6.5 Conclusion

In this chapter we have shown that two ways of choosing the threshold parameter Th (Th = 0.3, Th = 0.2) of the algorithm for distinguishing two sets of electroencephalographic records, i.e., one in the absence of a magnetic storm (MS) and the other under the influence of an MS, yielded consistent results. From these results, one can see that the coherence of the frontal polar and occipital theta rhythm brain bioelectrical oscillations in healthy persons at work on a computer was markedly decreased during (or even a day after) a moderate MS, whereas no deviations in the blood pressure, respiratory rate, and or electrocardiographic features were registered. Thereby, the goal formulated in the Introduction of this chapter was attained.
