PREFIX/SUFFIX WORDS

Determine the prefix, the suffix and the root letters of the words below and write them separately in the first column as shown in the example. It is important to learn to extract the NECESSARY letters but not the WHOLE root. Your ability to perform this extraction becomes especially critical for words with longer roots.

In the second column write a full abbreviation applying the prefix/suffix rule by using ONE 3 letter option (SCR or OVR) at a time. Use the OVR only for shorter words.
