Dr. Scoop was running late for court. He scuttled out of the shower barking instructions at his omnipresent computer to finish his dry-cleaning and collect all his messages while he was going to be away. He could not be disturbed during the hearing.

Throwing his bathrobe aside to reveal his translucent, bright green self and hurriedly strapping on his Watch-O-Cam, he ran to the hanger and jumped into his Bubble-Shuttle, the fastest way to travel. The Bubble-Shuttle was a large and indestructible, nitro-powered bubble-shaped shuttle that could squeeze through the worst traffic jams.

Flying out of the atmosphere of his private planet, he chartered a course for the ICPLJH, where the Martian Mauler was finally being tried for his crimes after several decades of terrorizing the universe.

He squashed through the giant floating rocks of Mikrapug and bounced over the bumpy invisible waves of Hygrafall.

His beeper went off several times during the journey, but he disconnected it every time as driving from one galaxy to another was no longer the breeze it once was.

Finally, he arrived in the atmosphere of the asteroid that held the rickety ICPLJCH building. He passed through the annoyingly slow checkpoints managed by the sluggish Megaslugs of Sluggargia.

After seven frustrating and senseless security checkpoints, Scoop dumped his shuttle in the parking lot, forgetting to close the top layer of the bubble and ran towards the courthouse.

As soon as he was out of sonic range, his beeper screen buzzed hysterically once again, this time screaming, “Emergency… TERI…Emergency…TERI…”
