Those are leading questions. As a lawyer, as a legislator, and as a parent, child, or co-worker, you have to deal with the facts as you have them. The facts were that email existed and had to be explored. It was best explored with former attorney general Sessions using leading questions that directed him in a certain way and with the answer and significance being embedded in the question. That is the nature of leading questions. Give the answer and highlight what is important while getting the witness to merely assent.
