HURLEY BURLEY and Iggy Iguana

In portraits, Hurley Burley can seem hoity-toity. There’s the Christmas card where he was photographed on a silk sofa in front of rather tall windows that were adorned with heavily fringed drapery. There’s another portrait, posted on a website, of Hurley Burley with Tony, who, wearing riding boots, is holding the terrier in one hand and the reins of a horse in the other, a white-fenced paddock just visible in the background. But in reality—and absent the sumptuous city digs or country estate—Hurley Burley is the tenacious, playful, energetic, and affectionate dog that we expect of this breed, trying to tear Iggy to pieces one minute and nuzzling him affectionately the next.
