You can either keep your knees bent (as shown in the picture) or straighten them out for a more challenging workout.
To do this, extend your arms straight out in front of you, parallel to the ground. To provide additional support, place your hands on the floor just beneath your hips if you feel that you need it.
This is High Boat, by the way. Take three deep breaths and hold this position.
Now lower your legs and straighten them out, while also lowering your upper body to the ground. Both your shoulder blades and your legs should be elevated a few inches above the floor during this position. Keep them somewhat higher off the floor at first, and then gradually lower them until they are level with the floor.
