The British Dyslexia Association provides a dyslexia-friendly style guide aimed to help people design their handouts and PowerPoint presentations in a dyslexia-friendly manner. They suggest avoiding white backgrounds on paper or online, including visual aids, as white can appear too dazzling, and suggest using cream or a soft pastel colour. Some dyslexic people will have their own colour preference. Fonts should be plain, evenly spaced sans serif fonts such as Arial. Alternatives include Verdana, Tahoma, Century Gothic and Trebuchet.
