TONE AND FLOW
In this chapter, I am sharing two chair yoga routines that are slightly more dynamic and tailored to the intermediate level. Once youâre ready, you can use these sequences to enhance your chair yoga practice and add some more challenging elements. These routines can be used after the warm-up routines (or a series of warm-up poses) once your body is ready to go.
Because the poses in these sequences are more challenging, some of them do involve standing beside the chair. But if you are unable to stand, perhaps you can try the poses in this sequence where you remain seated. Whether youâre sitting down or standing up, these poses will add more variety into your practice and youâll be able to work on your strength, flexibility, and stamina. You might even break a sweat!
