UCA Ever Star

The process of bringing all the vehicles out of the Arashi vault was a slow one. UCA transports that had specifications for vehicles could only fit one at a time and the Ever Star only had so many. Julal was in the vault giving a quick overview of how to drive the Levisuns while a handful of UCA soldiers were responsible for driving them out. Daniel had disappeared somewhere to try and figure out what exactly he had found in the vault. Ciro was having fun driving vehicles from another galaxy, even if it was just in a straight line up a ramp. The other three members of Nova Team were outside coordinating the traffic.

Ethan was going to keep his promise of not using the vehicles against the Kaltari in the upcoming fight. Nova Team had made the decision to not leave the vehicles in the vault just in case the Kaltari came back to take them. Although Ethan and Worgh had seen eye to eye, that did not mean their respective sides would in the end. He hadn’t quite figured out how to explain the current situation to Captain Stanton yet. He would have to figure that out quickly as a UCA soldier called out that Ethan and Jennifer were needed on the bridge.

Ethan turned to look at Nathan who was at the entrance of the vault. Nathan had heard that Ethan was needed on the bridge and said, “I’ve got this.”

Ethan nodded and the two started following the soldier back to a transport for the Ever Star. It was a short ride, and a rather cramped ride as the Levisun was larger than a standard UCA ground vehicle. Ethan had wanted to take one for a test drive to see what an Arashi vehicle could do. Unfortunately, they were on a bit of a schedule, so it didn’t happen.

“Any idea how the Captain is going to take this?” Jennifer asked.

“Hopefully he’ll be on board with the idea.” Ethan said. “We’ll find out soon enough.”

Once the transport arrived at the Ever Star, the two exited into a crowded hangar with an array of personnel running around tending to their duties. Unlike how they normally were, the hallways of the Ever Star were in a chaotic state. Immediately exiting the hangar was all the equipment that was moved out of the hangar to allow more space for the Levisuns. The soldiers were moving about more frantically before a battle knowing that the next one would be a full-on invasion of the Kaltari homeworld.

As the two made their way to the bridge, they could hear the chatter from the soldiers. Some of the soldiers were worried, there were some who were glad to be taking the fight to the Kaltari, and some of the newer crew members were making sure to triple check their pre-battle checklists had been completed. No one else knew about Nova Team teaming up with the Kaltari on the planet below.
