Rock music, particularly its extreme fringes, has always had a fascination with Beelzebub—apparently so have a lot of brewers. There are more devilish beers out there than you can shake a pitchfork at. Many are tributes to the original hell brew, a Belgian strong pale ale called Duvel (Brabantian Dutch for “devil”). Others are no doubt named for the naughty things they make you do.
