2. Execution

Step forward with one leg. Land first on your heel, then forefoot. Lower your body by flexing the hip and knee of the front leg until the knee of the rear leg almost touches the floor. While exhaling, push up and go back to the original position.Use mainly the heel for this movement. Repeat by alternating lunge with opposite legs.

Tips & Safety

- Don’t allow the knee of your front leg to go beyond your toes as you lower your body.This will stress your knee joint.

- Remember to keep your front shin perpendicular to the ground.
