Preparation method:

Boil the cabbage in two cups of water within a saucepan. Lower the heat and let it simmer for about 9 minutes while covered so that the cabbage turns soft. Keep the liquid after draining as stock and transfer the cabbage to a plate.

Now, add the potatoes to the stock you reserved and add some more water to boil the potatoes. Lower the heat after the boil comes and let it simmer for about 14 minutes till the potatoes are nice and soft. In a separate saucepan, boil the milk and add salt, pepper, and green onions to it. Once the boil comes, set aside from the heat.

Transfer the potatoes from the pan to a big bowl after draining the stock. Mash the potatoes properly in the bowl. Pour the milk mix over the potato mash and whisk till it combines.

Add the shredded cabbage and then stir well. Serve after a drizzle of butter and topping with parsley.
