Among these replies on the Mundaneum’s heavy, official stationery were brief discourses regarding the material Noah used to construct his Ark and the consequences of new laws regarding suffrage, questions from around the world, asked for the cost of a postage stamp. He opened the next letter, childish writing on lined school-room paper:
