So, it looked like Captain Barrett had bucked CENTCOM—again—and was bringing his Valkyrie-class destroyer to Odmena. It was the best bit of news he'd gotten since arriving to the border system. With the Nemesis there, the Alliance fleet would have to completely retool their strategy, no longer able to focus so completely on the Jericho. Bolstered by the news that he was being reinforced, he sat down and composed a series of communiques to CENTCOM and Seventh Fleet HQ letting them know that the ESA had destroyed two Federation ships and that the captain of the flagship had apparently hung himself in his quarters. He could imagine the staff having to peel Admiral Pitt off the ceiling when he read how badly a simple force projection mission was going.
