Finding the Love of My Life

It’s not easy to sit back and wait on the Lord. And you’re probably thinking at this point that I wasn’t exactly sitting back and waiting when I spotted a distinguished looking man on the plane and started up a conversation with him. All I know is that in God’s own time, if we trust, He will give us the desires of our heart. He knows far better than we do what it is that will bring to us the abundant life that He died to give us.

And so I held on to Psalm 37:3–5:

Trust in the Lord, and do good. . . .

Delight yourself also in the Lord,

And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
