CARAMEL CUTS
A delicious little cookie that is impossible to stop eating once you have tasted a bite.
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
2. Measure all the ingredients and pour them into a bowl. Knead everything together with your hands into a dough.
3. Sprinkle flour on the work surface and place the dough on it. Divide the dough into two equal parts and shape them into two coils that are almost as long as the longest side of the baking sheet.
4. Cover a baking sheet with baking paper and place the coils on it. Flatten them with your hands until they are half their thickness. Place the baking sheet in the center of the oven and bake for about 7 minutes, until the coils are golden brown. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and place it on the stove.
5. Cut the lengths into cookies with a knife before the dough solidifies, but be careful and remember that the baking sheet and the lengths are still warm. Cut the cakes at an angle to make them extra pretty. Allow them to cool and store them in a cookie jar.
