Though she wasn't very high level.

“Ha!” Max said as he grabbed her hand, keeping the blade embedded in his torso. “I'm sorry about this, but it has to be done.”

Her eyes widened as Max's mace finished her. Blood splattered against Max's helmet as he let go of the woman's hand. The rapier was pulled from his body as she slumped to the floor, making way.

Kestrian crew and Kestrian Captain defeated!

“Awww,” Arinna said, pouting a little. “No level.”

“Crap,” Max said.

“What?” she asked, appearing at his side.

“Manual controls,” he replied. “I hate these.”

“All you need to do is crash, right?”

Max nodded. “Good point. That, I can do.”

“Throw me... uh... Dwayne is it?” Arinna asked as Max sat down in front of the two weird handles.

“Sure,” he said, and tossed the wyvern's cattan to her.

“I'll be waiting up top with our ride.”

Max gave her a thumbs up and turned his attention back to the console. “Down we go!” he said as he twisted the two handles, hard in the opposite direction.

Alarms screamed all around as the Kestrian destroyer twisted to the right before diving straight down into the carrier below it. The destroyer's sharp bow smashed directly into the carrier's deck, slashing the ship open like a chainsaw through a watermelon.

Now that everything was vertical, Max found it hard to pull himself free of the pilot's chair, but when he did his foot caught on the Captain's rapier and he tripped and fell onto the glass of the forward viewport. It didn't shatter immediately, which was good, but it was cracking. Max could hear that tinking, clinking sound all around him. When he looked up, he saw three bodies falling through the air, headed right for him.

He sighed. There was nothing to do but wait.

The bodies crashed into the glass which shattered causing the bloody remains of the Kestrians to shower the carrier below. Max managed to snag the edge of the viewport and was now hanging, watching as flames shot from the two ruined ships as they twisted and turned together on their way to the ocean below.

“Well... I might as well try it,” Max said as he swung himself forward and let go, trying to get some distance between the destroyer and himself, but as he did there was an explosion behind him that blasted him even farther out and set his cape fire to boot.

321 damage received.
