Johnny: Thanks for the warning. My girl can’t hold her alcohol for shit, but I still love her. Watch her for me.
Courtney: Yup, just make sure she’s in the bridal suite by 8am. I’ll text you when we’re in the elevator on the way up.
I look up from my phone to see that the show is about to begin, and Jenny is still not at our table. I crane my neck to see if I can find her when she comes bounding up on my other side, jumping and squealing like one of Scarlett’s stepmom’s teacup pigs.
“What’s up, sis?” Jordan asks as she places her phone, screen side down, on the table so we can’t see the numerous texts from Callan she’s been getting. The poor guy has no clue what to do with himself or a girlfriend and it provides hours of entertainment for the rest of us. Jordan doesn’t find it as entertaining.
“Look,” Jenny exclaims and extends her hand. In it is the scavenger hunt card with five of her seven men checked off already. “Guy drinking wine,” she hiccups and giggles. “Sorry. At the bar with his girlfriend. Guy in a suit is at the table over there,” she nods in his direction and he raises a hand in a wave. “He’s also wearing glasses and has great hair, so…”
“Well, he’s gay, so…”
“Is that against the rules? You didn’t say they had to be straight,” Jenny wobbles. “I need to sit down.”
“Good idea,” I say. “The show is starting anyway.”
Bridget looks over Jenny’s shoulder at the card and asks, “What about muscle guy?”
“Oh, one of the bouncers let me lift his shirt and he’s jacked.”
The table stares at Jenny for a second before our attention is pulled to the stage.
Music begins playing, Sexy Back by Justin Timberlake, and the women and men in the audience go crazy when the group of six male dancers make their way across the stage. They strut with swagger to spare, each good-looking in their own right and buff as hell, but I’m partial to a certain carrottop, so I sit back and chance a look at my sister.
Bridget is looking at me when I turn my head and we smirk at one another. Man, how times have changed.
“You thinking what I’m thinking, Court?” she asks.
“How did we not know about this place?”
“Yup. But good thing though, right?”
“Yup, probs.”
“Oh, Jesus!” I hear Jordan yell and I turn to find Jenny standing on the stage with one of the dancers. He’s taking off his clothes and my youngest sister, the virgin one, decides to help the guy out by reaching for and ripping off his boxers.
Another girl, one we don’t know and I’m not responsible for, thank fuck for that small miracle, joins Jenny and drops to her knees before she starts kissing the guy’s dick. The kissing obviously makes him go into salute mode within seconds and she’s sucking him off before security can make their way to the stage. They seem to move a little slower around here than at the female strip clubs I’ve been to.
