A long and strenuous walkabout inclined and played on as the small group continued through the rancid bios of Tali. Raida, for one, was beginning to believe that she would never make it out of the sub-region. She thought briefly, desperately for the confines of her beloved Sakâjo; she yearned for the solitude of her bed chamber-anywhere else would have been a vast improvement to this dreadful predicament.
Raidaâs wondering sight caught brief glimpses of eerie shadows cast along the walling of the tunnel, she then found the broad form of the Hunter, he was walking slowly in front of her-guiding the way. Underneath the expressionless form of the mask, he found himself concentrating on his home world, Coria, probing thoughts uncovered visions of an unsorted variety, coupled with an unusual feeling of apprehension that began to deluge his senses. He suspected the situation on his home planet had worsened. Surely by now the Delevado had complete control of the skies above Coria, he felt in that instant a spiteful rage swell within. Adrift towards him, in a deranged rush, he perceived wild images of the skies of Coria, teeming with Delevado metoids; ghosts of wicked candescence, herding shadow as they glided fluidly in cloud sea, promoting fear with their unknown intentions.
Then without warning a massive blurring of light, the same light that had captured his attention, for but an instant while he piloted the Crawl in escape from the city of Jalu lunged toward him, with open mouth and furious teeth.
He twitched slightly regaining his full consciousness.
Seth felt something unfamiliar, a constricting urgency that caused him to quicken his stride; you must hurry - resounded throughout his mind as he ran, moving so swiftly Raida and Para could barely follow. It was not long before they had arrived at an enormous connective web of spillways.
Finally, reaching the end of the path, a mammoth door stood before them. Seth, Guardio, and Raida slowly approach the metal wall; that dividing gate that separated the wild underworld from the orderly establishment of Taliâs government district. Self automated, a built-in metoid was the appointed guardian, it emerged from the upper door sill as some bloodcurdling arachnid, with massive frontal appendages and a bright red optic censor.
âThis is a maximum security area - you are not permitted to be here.â It informed. âDepart at once or you will be terminated with extreme force!â The automatized life form commanded in a tone of servo spurts. Raida spoke urgently, desperate to put the sewers behind her. âWe need to access the surface.â
âYou canât reason with it.â The Hunter stated dryly as he removed the Belsine mask. âYou must have an authorized clearance code to access this sublevel.
Do you have such a code?â The metoid questioned, its voice echoed through the area. âNoâ¦â Raida confessed.
âThen all three of you must leave this area.â
Moving with lightning speed, Seth called forth the crytox forming his blade, plunging it directly into the metoidâs optical sensor, debilitating all its defenses. He carved
