During one of my readings a young girl named Kara sat at my table. She gave me a smile and said she wanted to talk to Chuck. I closed my eyes, said my prayer and went into my meditation. The spirit of a young man with a mischievous grin told me he was Chuck.

I asked Kara if it was a romantic relationship as I felt a strong pull of love between them.

“Yes,” she answered.

I then felt pains in my chest and the end seemed to come in an instant. “Was his death quick?” I asked. “Was it an accident?”

“Yes,” she said again.

Then I felt as if my chest exploded and I thought Chuck must have had a heart attack. I shared these sensations with Kara.

“It wasn’t a heart attack,” she said, “but his heart did explode. He was shot in the chest.”

I asked her if she knew what had happened because it seemed to me that Chuck needed to explain his death to her. Kara told me she did not know how he died, but really needed to find out.

“I am feeling he was outside by his car,” I began. “He is showing me someone stopping his car. He stopped to see what was wrong. You don’t believe it was a robbery, do you?

“No,” Kara answered.

“He is telling me it started out to be a robbery but something went wrong and he was shot.”

“So he wasn’t buying drugs?” Kara asked.

Chuck told me to tell her “You don’t really believe that.”

“No,” she said, sadly. “But what was he doing in the center of Philadelphia?”

“He tells me he was looking to buy something for his computer.”

“He did work with computers,” said Kara.

I explained to her that he is very happy you don’t believe he was buying drugs because his family does believe that is how he died. She nodded in agreement. “He wants you to know he is so sorry he left you so soon. It seems you liked him first. He is glad that you came on to him. Since you didn’t have much time together, I’m feeling you met at work. Did you work together?”

She looked at me very surprised and started to laugh. “That was an ongoing joke between us—the night I met him I gave him a big kiss on the mouth. We didn’t work together but I was introduced to him at my job.”

“Now he is talking to me about the wedding,” I said. “I feel you both were in the midst of planning it.”

“Today was supposed to be our wedding day,” she answered, her eyes filling with tears.

“He is asking me if you would do him a favor. He asks me to tell you that he wants to hold you again. Tonight, sit in meditation and allow his spirit to touch your spirit.”

Kara asked me how to do this, and I told her how to sit quietly, focus on her breathing and stay relaxed until his spirit enters into her energy field. I told her that she would feel sensations in her body such as warmth, tingling and light touches.
