Sunday morning. It was hard to imagine that we had been in Sevier County for a week, and we would be there another week. Well, at least Lou and I would be. We would be kissing the girls goodbye on Wednesday morning.
I must have had a clock in my head because I woke up early. I jumped out of bed, took my time reading my Bible and devotional books. I did that on my balcony.
I wasnât sure how far along the others were with their morning rituals, so I didnât waste any time with the rest of my morning routine. I was still getting used to using an electric razor but shaved the best I could. After I returned home, I would read the instructions to see if there was any secret to a great shave. After I did the best I could to make my face look better, I did what I did only at Westgate. I showered in the jacuzzi rather than in the shower. There is lots of room to roam, and I like the sprayer. I donât roam, and I donât look at myself in the mirror on the two walls or the mirror on the closet in front of me, but, for some reason, I like the jacuzzi better than the shower, although the shower is a good-sized one.
Once I had dressed, I checked on the others. Lou was ready. The girls were still in the process. Of course, the two of them were sharing a suite, while Lou and I each have one all to ourselves. I wasnât about to share anything with Lou, other than a ride down and back. And I only shared part of a ride down with him. The other part of the way I drove someone who was much better looking.

Once everyone looked his or her best, it was out to my van, and off to Krispy Kreme. When we got there, I couldnât select everything I wanted, because we were only getting a dozen, and only three of that dozen were mine. I ended up choosing a chocolate iced custard filled, a New York cheesecake, and a powdered strawberry. Maybe Lou and I would come back again after the girls left. Iâm not a coffee drinker, so I brought a container of water with me. We allowed ourselves plenty of time to eat and still get to Dollywood with time to spare before the show that Jennifer wanted to see started. The others could finish eating while I drove, but I had to down mine with as few manners as possible and hope the girls didnât notice.

Since it was Sunday and all of us were missing church, we made sure we got to Dollywood in time to catch a Southern gospel group at 10:00. I have a Gold Pass and everyone else has Season Passes, and a Parking Pass comes with the Gold Pass, so we were able to avoid lines for tickets and could zip through the turnstiles.
