It works like this!
Lie on your back and draw your knees up. Keep your feet and knees parallel and hip width apart. Push your tailbone in the direction of your feet.
Exhale and lift your tailbone off the floor. Put the block under your sacrum, sideways or on edge depending on your flexibility. Your knees are above your heels. ❶
Rotate your thighs slightly inwards. Push your knees forwards a little and your tailbone towards your feet.
Your arms lie along your sides with the palms flat on the floor. Rotate the elbows slightly inwards and press your shoulder blades together – the rib cage will expand.
Press the soles of your feet into the floor. The insides of your thighs are activated. Breathe calmly and deeply.
To end the exercise: Lift your pelvis and remove the block. Lift your heels so your feet are on tiptoe then let your back sink slowly to the floor.
