The words Uj Sorsat meant nothing to Zarco, so he started cross-checking every survey he’d done and every other survey compiled within the past five years. No place named as such showed up in his databases. But he cross-checked it with the information Nirmala had given them about the cybernetic parts, and the biological debris Fuse had analyzed. The Kuzar Arch—Fuse had pinpointed that region as a possible location.

Fortunately, whoever had made the cybernetic hand hadn’t been zealous about keeping their product secret. It took some digging, but Zarco uncovered rumors of black market purchases made in a handful of systems in the Kuzar Arch.

Only one was on the same list as the breeding ground for the bugs Fuse had found.
