FRONT SQUAT
Before you can do a Front Squat (sometimes called a “racked” squat), you must know how to rack your bell (see page 50).
STARTING POSITION: Bring the bell to a racked position. Keep your elbow and forearm vertically stationary. Don’t lift your elbow up to hold the bell.
1 Keeping your abs tight, pull yourself down. Try to get your belly between your legs and your hips below your knees. Keep your knees aligned with your toes, your weight on your heels and outside edges of your feet; push the ground away from your body and spread it apart with your feet.
