Squats
Squatting is the kingâerr, queenâof booty workouts. Ask any fitness fanatic or health expert how to get a booty, and they will automatically tell you to do squats. This is because squats use up just about every leg muscle, and hit the glutes. You can do this exercise with dumbbells or barbells. It is easier to do dumbbell squats, but doing barbell squats will require you to practice good form. It will take some getting used to, so if you don't have a trainer or a workout buddy, it is best that you do barbell squats with the Smith machine when first starting out. When you have caught the right form and you are balancing the weights well, then it will be time to graduate to the squat rack. It is much harder to do barbell squats with free weights than with the Smith machine because you are forcing your leg and glute muscles to balance and stabilize you while you are lifting those heavy weights, so your muscles are basically doing two tasks at the same time.
