The Ab Moves
1. Boat pose (yoga): Sit erect on your βsitβ bones with knees bent, feet flat on the ground, and legs and ankles squeezed together. Place hands behind the backs of thighs and lift feet up so that calves are parallel to ground (a). Hold pose for 3β5 full breaths, keeping back straight. Maintaining this position, contract abs and round spine to lower torso a few inches back toward the ground, still holding backs of thighs (b). Inhale, straighten spine, and sit back up while keeping feet raised. Repeat 3β5 times, then lower feet to ground.
