Water tumbles down from the majestic high Spanish Pyrenees mountains to be eventually used in Gisberga’s brewing process. The hard work then takes place in the brewery, and this delicate, farmhouse-styled wheat beer is the result. Straw-gold in color, veering toward dark orange, it’s a light and refreshing beer, with a tang of citrus and a swipe of spice on both the nose and the palate. There’s an appetizing acidity at loose as well, which helps give the beer an eminent presence on the dining table, or, with the Pyrenees in mind, a picnic would be more appropriate.
