Chapter 7 Like old Times

AFTER A FEW WEEKS KAZE woke and saw Zen asleep in a chair next to him. He let out a sigh then got up slowly and left out the back while everyone slept. It was midnight and Kaze wandered the forest blindly as his vision blurred. The hunger returned as his fangs came out and he froze trying to hold it back. Yet he couldn't and the darkness came again as he blacked out then went on a hunt seeing a deer.

Reto barked in the morning as Kaze walked in drenched in water and sweat his clothes bloody and his hunger taking control as Zen came in the kitchen then froze seeing the silver eyes staring at him like steel orbs.

"Kaze-" Zen spoke and Kaze moved fast lunging at him and Zen sprinted dodging his attack and claws as he ran to Kazes field. Kaze followed then yelled a roar causing the wind to howl and chase Zen with debris. Zen got a long stick and stood his ground as Kaze drew Jade then charged and Zen blocked going to the right mimicking Kazes moves and predicted his leg sweep and jumped over him hitting his back with the stick and Kazes wings appeared and he hardened them then swung them like pendulums and a saw spinning rapidly and zen went under him turning the stick into a spear with alchemy and speared his right shoulder through to his wing joint. Kaze screamed and Zen dug it deeper as Kaze tried to fly and get him off but his right set of wings were frozen paralyzed. He yelled again but nothing happened and Zen thought he was giving up a moment until he grabbed the spear and broke it off then started to use the other end to wack at Zen dropping Jade in the progress. Zen picked up Jade and Kaze growled stopping as he pulled out the spearhead then lunged at Zen who got his right arm with Jade. Kazes skin started to burn at the blades touch and he hissed in pain then glared at Zen trying to bite at him then Zen whispered. "Incinerate."

Kazes arm lit on fire and Zen pulled the sword out backing up and Kaze yelled the swords fire burning his arm and wings and Zen stood there watching him cry out till his hunger stopped and his eyes became blue again. Kaze store at the sky then cried and Zen saw his weakness as his head fell forward to his chest and he cried his arm burned to the bone and nerves glued together by the fire. He couldn't regenerate as Zen walked to him and rose the sword.

"I'm sorry my brother." Kaze whispered as Zen stood sword above Kazes back then Zen brought the sword down and went through his spine then stabbed through his dead heart. Kaze didn't scream this time only accepted the pain as Zen took out the sword and Kaze fell forward on
