For 40 years, Burger King touted its slogan, “Have It Your Way” to differentiate itself among other burger slingers as the place to go for a delicious burger served with everyone’s select taste buds in mind. BBDO was Burger King’s agency of record and helped Burger King increase its brand awareness by 50% with the use of this iconic slogan. As a child of the 70s, I can attest that, to this day, I can still recite the words to that catchy ditty. When I place my BK burger, I always ask the staff to “hold the pickles.”
