Romans 10:4 Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes (NIV)

Romans 10:4 For Messiah is the goal of the ‘Torah [Law] unto righteousness ‘to everyone who believes. (The Scriptures)

The Clergy have often used the first translation as proof text that Yahshua put an end to the Mosaic Laws. However, upon careful examination, this is not what Paul is saying. The Greek word here for END is Strong's G5056 – telos, which means the end to which all things relate, the aim, purpose. Paul is saying that Yahshua is the Aim or Goal of the law unto righteousness to everyone that believes.

If Paul wanted to say that Yahshua brought an actual end or terminated the law, the Greek word would have been Strong's G4930 – synteleia συντέλεια that means completion, consummation, and end.

Yahshua did not nullify the Laws of Yah; he perfected and became the manifestation of Yah’s righteousness. The Messiah did not commit sin but walked perfectly in the laws of Yah demonstrating that he is the summation and the culmination of righteousness as explicated in the Law of Moses (Deuteronomy 6:24-25).

It is for this reason that worshipers look to him as an example and look to him as intercessor. It is for this reason that we petition Yah in the name of Yahshua, not in our own righteousness, but the righteousness of Yahshua who has perfected Yah’s Word and ever lives to intercede on man’s behalf for those who come to Yah through him, seeing he is the Priest of those whom Yah has called.

It is important to understand that the Laws of Yah are necessary to achieve righteousness as it relates to learning and transforming into a godly man according to Paul’s discourse with Timothy.

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work (NASB)
