Questions to consider: Have you surrendered everything to the Lord? Is Jesus Christ the true Lord of your life? Can you honestly say Jesus is Lord? Have you been crucified with Christ? Can you honestly say you no longer live and Christ lives in you?

Actions: Spend some time to consider the cost of full surrender. Ask God to make you ‘willing to be made willing’ to surrender all, just as Rees Howells and many others had to.

Chapter Twenty-Six

* ‘The Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing’ (Hebrews 9:8).

* ‘But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before, “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them” ’ (Hebrews 10:15-16).

* Jesus said, “Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Revelation 2:7).

* Jesus said, “Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Revelation 2:17).

* Jesus said, “Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Revelation 3:22).

* ‘I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labour, for their deeds will follow them” ’ (Revelation 14:13).

* ‘He carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high’ (Revelation 21:10).

* ‘The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” ’ (Revelation 22:17).
