Brian finds motivation everywhere he looks. “There are so many things that inspire me every day,” he says. “To work, to try something new, to make a difference. Whether it’s the charities I’m involved with, the schools for my kids, or my employees at work, if you keep your eyes open, there’s inspiration all around. I try to draw from that each and every day.”

One of the things that surprised me when I sat with Brian on this was how much he loves the hustle and bustle of starting a new business, same as me. You’d think someone who’s ramped up three crazy-successful companies might be inclined to sit back and chill, but he seems to thrive on the thrill of the chase that finds you in a start-up environment.

“I’m always looking for the grind,” he says, a line that really gets to the difference between people who make it to the top, and those who don’t. “At the end of the day, that’s what drives me. What’s the next cool thing? Where’s the future headed? Wherever we’re going, whatever’s about to happen, I want to be a part of it, and I want to make an impact.”
