Ingredients

3 cups water

1 cup lemon juice (6 medium lemons)

¼-½ cup sugar

½ teaspoon salt

2 kiwis, peel and thinly sliced

6-8 ice cubes (optional)

method

Tip: Use raw honey, stevia or other natural sugars instead of white sugar.

1. Add one cup water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add sugar and stir continuously.

2. Remove from heat when sugar dissolves completely. Set it aside to cool.

3. Juice lemons and strain to remove seeds.

4. Pour sugar syrup into pitcher. Add lemon, sliced kiwi and remaining water. You can blend kiwi and add the juice. Stir well to combine.

5. Chill in fridge for 2-3 hours for later. Garnish with herbs of choice, add ice cubes and serve.
