Neil wasn’t having the best luck. So far, he was around forty-five dollars down, and he seemed quite intent on losing the rest of his money as quickly as possible.

Again, if this had been money from their savings, then Laura probably would’ve been incredibly pissed off. But this was free money that Neil was spending, and he seemed to be enjoying himself in doing so (as much as one can when losing all of one’s money). And Laura was certainly enjoying herself; the drinks in the casino were plentiful. She’d already had two margaritas, and she was now onto her second mojito. She was feeling tipsy, and within another drink or two she’d be on her last legs. She needed to slow herself down a little – they still had to pick up the kids from the club in an hour or so.

She couldn’t help but think that it would’ve been nice to have somewhere to leave the kids overnight. She was in the mood to get totally hammered, but that was off the table with the kids around. She was feeling horny too, the copious amount of alcohol she had consumed lowering her inhibitions. If the kids hadn’t been there, then she felt sure that she and Neil would’ve fucked each other’s brains out. Instead, they’d have to keep it quiet, and gently make love in the living room of the suite. That was nice, or course, but sometimes it was good to let loose and go wild.

Sometimes she needed the shit fucked out of her.

Maybe she could suggest that Neil take her outside, onto one of the decks, and fuck her somewhere they most certainly weren’t meant to be. At least the prospect of being caught might add a little excitement into the mix.

But if they were going to do that, then she’d need a couple more drinks first.

Neil pumped his fist as the ball landed on his number. It was nice to see him so happy for a change. It had seemed like everything was going to shit, but since they’d won the competition, things had gotten so much better. Life was easy now. He leaned over and kissed Laura, allowing his lips to linger on hers for just a few seconds, the lust building inside her. And then he was back to the game, placing his next bet.

Giddy excitement building inside, Laura swallowed the last of her drink. The waiter was there almost immediately, never straying too far from their table. “Another drink, ma’am?” he asked.

Laura laughed to herself. It was amusing to her for somebody to be talking to her as if she was a lady. The truth was, she was pretty much common as muck. Still, it was a nice change. “Yes, please. Can I get a cosmopolitan?” Since they were free, she intended on sampling every cocktail on the menu. Perhaps not all tonight, though…

“Yes, of course,” said the waiter. “And for you, sir?”

Neil was hardly paying attention; he was too focused on his game.
