Ti ps Imagine doing Utthita Trikonasana in a narrow corridor. The walls in front and behind you do not allow any part of your body to protrude forward or backward. You must maintain the bent body parallel to the walls, aligned with the lateral plane created by your legs.

CAUTIONS If you are prone to dizzy spells, vertigo, or high blood pressure, look down at the floor in the final pose. Do not turn your head up.

If you have a cardiac condition, practice against a wall (see Variation 12 of this pose). Do not raise the arm, but rest it along your hip.
