Chapter 16

Robben and Asteria

Asteria sat in a chair, with her hands cuffed behind her. Robben stood in front of her, and Lieutenant Peters was behind his desk on the computer with his cap and goggles. "So, he here to watch?" Asteria motioned with her head towards Peters. "Is that how you both get your jollies?"

Robben signaled Peters with a nod. Peters pushed something on the computer and Asteria's electro-cuffs beeped, un-cuffed themselves, and fell to the floor. She raised her hands in front of her and began to rub her wrists in relief.

"Stand up." Robben ordered, his eyes bright.

Asteria slowly stood up. She stared at Robben, then glanced over to Peters, then back to Robben again. Robben was a good-looking man, and she might have been interested in other circumstances. Not now.

"Well?" Robben asked her with a smirk.

Asteria grabbed Robben's neck with her left hand and reached back with a clenched right hand. Before she could swing her right fist forward, Peters triggered her electro-collar. Her eyes went from anger to horror in a split second. She released Robben as her body stiffened and began to rock rigidly in place. Then Robben shoved her backwards, and her body crashed against and broke the chair she was previously sitting on. The two men laughed hard as her body fell awkwardly atop the chair's fragments.

"Yeah, that's what I fucking thought!" Robben spat.

The two men picked her up and dragged her over to the same table that she was previously branded on. Robben held her down while Peters picked up a syringe from the desk. He walked over and stabbed the syringe into her right buttock, next to the fresh branding.

"Fuck!" Asteria yelled, "What the—"

Before she could finish the sentence, she moaned and drifted into a drugged state.
