¼ oz St-Germain elderflower liqueur

¾ oz Lemon Thyme Syrup (page 215)

½ oz fresh lime juice

1 sprig fresh lemon thyme

The exotic palate of flavors makes this simple beach sipper a deliciously rich and appealing cocktail, especially when garnished with edible flowers.

Fill a rocks glass and a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the tequila, Velvet Falernum, passion fruit purée, lime juice, and simple syrup, if desired, to the shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into the glass. Garnish with fresh flower petals, if desired, and serve.
