“This has to be the nastiest place that I have ever been in,” Menzuo said. He continued to walk towards the blue light.

“Of course it is, Menzuo. I don’t think you have ever traveled into the belly of a Naleezar before,” Solar answered sarcastically. This is more disgusting than blowing up the Micwog from the inside.”

“You’ve got that right.”

The young Prince walked deeper into the Naleezar’s stomach, spotting several open pathways. Its stomach was large and slimy. Menzuo stopped as he tried to locate the direction of the blue light.

“Look, Menzuo. To your left—there it is!” Solar shouted.

“I think I see it, right down at the end of that tunnel,” Menzuo responded as he cautiously walked towards the light.

As he continued to the entrance, Menzuo’s eyes grew bigger. He saw the blue diamond, resting on a platform right in the center of the beasts stomach. It was glowing bright, as if it was calling him.

“There it is, Menzuo. It’s the blue diamond. It really does exist,” Solar replied excitedly.

Menzuo looked at the diamond for a while then moved towards it. “I can’t believe this. What Princess Amiata told us is true.”

“I can’t believe it either, Menzuo . . . but don’t you think this is way too easy?”

“I know, but what could be in here to stop us?”

“Yeah, I guess so. Just grab it and let’s get out of here. This isn’t a happy place to be.”

“Exactly,” Menzuo agreed. He grabbed the blue diamond.

As the young Prince placed his hand on it, an unfamiliar voice spoke out to him. “You have located my energy.”

Menzuo quickly looked around, but couldn’t pinpoint where the voice was coming from. “Solar, did you hear that?”

“I did, but who was that?”

The mysterious voice spoke out again. “You must get out of here now. Danger is very near.”

Before Menzuo could ask the mysterious voice a question, a faint clicking noise was coming from outside of the part of the stomach that he was in.

The noise was growing louder and sounded like it was getting closer. Menzuo continued to focus on the noise. “What is that?”

“I have no clue, but I think we’ll find out soon enough.”

As the sound grew closer, eight little teddy-bear-looking creatures, with golden eyes, sharp claws, and very sharp teeth seeped through the walls of the Naleezar’s stomach. They blocked the pathway leading to the exit.

The Naleezar spoke to the young warrior. “Oooh, poor Mmmenzuo. I’m sorry, I hope you didn’t think that I was going to allow you to get out of here. I couldn’t care lesss about this universe. I need a meeeal, and your soul will feeed me for many centuries. Goood bye, Prince.”

Menzuo started to breathe heavily. The Naleezar’s stomach monsters crept closer, their teeth showing.

“I knew that this was a trap,” Menzuo said angrily. He kept his eyes on each one of the Naleezar’s stomach monsters.

“We’ll get out of here. That Naleezar is going to pay for this!” Solar shouted.

The stomach monsters circled Menzuo and started to spit at him.
