LOS ANGELES TRUST AND SAVINGS BANK BUILDING. The marble banking suite of Los Angeles Trust and Savings Bank occupied the entire first floor of the 11-story Beaux Arts building at the northeast corner of 6th and Spring. Designed by architects Parkinson and Bergstrom, the structure has frontage of 60 feet on Spring and 165 feet on 6th Street.

GARNIER BLOCK, LOS ANGELES AND ARCADIA STREETS. The Garnier Block, now part of El Pueblo de Los Angeles State Historic Park, was built in 1890 in proximity to the original city Plaza, in what was then a predominately Chinese neighborhood. An example of early brick construction with sandstone trim and carved entrance, the building has been restored to its original appearance, although the south wing was destroyed in 1950 when the Santa Ana Freeway was built.
